Well do you think I'm a brat? What about the youths that actually do something to help others? Not all youths/teens are brats there are some good ones.
At least you didn't have to deal with getting sunburned when you were a kid. Thanks to you all of the "pampered" kids are more likely to get skin cancer.
Are blaming Hispanics? Is this like a conspiracy theory that we are planning on turning white people brown or kill them through sun exposure in order to take over the U.S. And avoid deportation? ;)
I was talking about the non "pampered" older generation. Strange you immediately assumed that trouble is associated with Hispanic. Why is it that you think that you are guilty of something because you are Hispanic, maybe it is just because you Hispanics are always guilty of something. ;)
I agree, so why do you keep spreading it? You brought up that you are Hispanic. You brought up blaming Hispanics. It's all your fault ... and not just because you are Hispanic.
You do realize that there is a technical reason for bell bottoms, right? If you're in the navy and the ship is going down and you have to jump off the side, the bell bottoms allow the pants to fill up with air thus helping you keep afloat. Later, you can take your pants off, fill them with air, knot the ends, wrap them around your neck and they serve as a flotation device. It took a while but eventually we realized that you don't need those pants if you are not in the Navy.
Now..., what's the technical reason for wearing your pants bellow your ass? What purpose does that serve? ;)
You weren't even in the military. What do you know? The sailors took advantage of the fact that they were easier to roll up, true..., but the designer didn't go, "How can I make a pair of pants that are easier to roll up?" The design came first. And the design was for safety. ;)
Yeah, the safety of not getting the bottom of your pants to snag on anything by being able to roll up easy. So mister Navy man, how many times did you float using your bell bottom floatation devices?
I was not Navy. I was Army. My Dad was Navy. My cousin Marine. My brother-in-law Navy Seal. Between me and my family members, we have decades of military experience. You? ;)
Are you serious? You had to had to deal with seeing 9/11 and few bombings. The elderly had to deal with the threat of a nuclear holocaust from the USSR and some of the older ones had to deal with the Axis.
Ok, so you had all of your fun. Then, you got older. Then you wouldn't let your kids have the same kind of fun you had. Then you make fun of them for being pampered. I am not sure how you can push this off on someone else.
Yeah, and about that video. That looks like every kid nowadays. I especially like the kid who goes off the ramp on his bike. Kids now jump off ramps on their bikes way more then you scared older people did.
Seriously though, I think the sense of entitlement comes from the parents. My parents have been pretty good about not spoiling me. They expect me to help out, they expect me to pay for a lot of my own stuff, and they don't just buy me whatever I want. However, I realize that I (and all the rest of my generation) am very lucky, considering the circumstances that my parents and grandparents grew up.
All in all, I think that those who think we're pampered are being a little bit judgmental, you should get to know a lot of young people, not base your opinion off a couple you met.
