THE BIBLE MADE A FULL FLEDGED DECLERATION. 1)ISHMAEL'S SEED WOULD DENY CHRIST. (STILL HAPPENING TODAY) 2)A RELIGIOUS BEAST SYSTEM WOULD ARISE AFTER CHRIST THAT BEHEADS CHRISTIANS AND PERSECUTES THEM IN MASS. (ISLAM MATCHES SAID SYSTEM TIT FOR TAT AS DESCRIBED IN REVELATION) 3)THE GOSPEL WOULD GO WORLDWIDE. 4)AFTER THE GOSPEL GOES WORLDWIDE, THE REBELLION AGAINST GOD WOULD BEGIN. If your atheist consider. When you die you practically have the 50/50 religion or not and some covert right before death due to fear of hell. But what is the point of living a terrible life then just throwing all that atheist pride away at death? What is the issue with living a life for religion? Christianity at least has good morals already set up guidance which most laws and basic morals are already set upon the bible. So why be atheist? apathy? Side: True.

I hate pascal's wager, but sure, let's have some fun with it. - If I'm right, no one will ever know. If I'm wrong, those wanting to say "I told you so" would be in a different place so I wouldn't have to hear it. - On a side note anytime it's asked in church why there's so much pain and suffering in this world the answer boils down to us having free will. If heaven is said to be a place with no more pain and suffering, it would stand to reason there's also no free will; which would be my idea of hell. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

I don't see the comparison. Another way I see it is many churches today do not teach a literal heaven and hell but rather hell being simply eternal separation and as it says in Revelation, there will be a new earth and that would be where the believers go. As it stands there's no evidence to support any of that is real, or that god even exists, but even if one day that evidence was provided, the god of the Bible is a dick and highly immoral; nothing deserving of worship. With regards to your link, you can save it. I was a Christian for 35 years and won't be back. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

then again, you might get to hear it for eternity... https://www.facebook.com/ Side: True.
No there is a verse in revelations I do not recall it of the top of my head that has the effect of -after death we will be all knowing- aka having a better understanding. we will know there is not point to make any action to bring suffering. of course if I have to sure I will go source this verse but Just because im short on time this is what i had. Side: True.
Well I always thought of it more like being that once you get to heaven you don´t lose your freewill so much as you just don´t make the bad choices, you know? like I could still choose to do something bad but I don´t want to because I made it to heaven and look it the creator of the universe! "You do not get to say I told you so". That's the problem from my point of view. If there IS a "God" HE would have the power to drop in and "tell me so". I wouldn't have to rely on a un-authenticated book pushed by possibly delusional salespeople. With so many scams allowed to flutter through HIS world, how can one believe in much of anything WITHOUT confirmation!? I need PROOF! As Reagan said, "Trust but verify." Apparently, my "GOD GIVEN" curiosity is faulty .... OR ... there IS no "evidence" we can rely on. So, I consider LIFE a win / lose situation, "Cest' la vie"! (excuse my probably misspelled French.) The argument for this is called Pascal's wager and the argument against this is that you end up assuming there is only two options. When in actual fact there's at least 4 (Atheism with afterlife, Atheism without afterlife, God with afterlife, another God with afterlife). You could easily argue on the same basis from an Islamic perspective that Christianity is lose-lose. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

Not really. Islam claims the Bible is correct with its left while denying its eschatology with its right, and came after, thus false by default and common sense. If you say A is true and that B is false, then claim C is true, you cannot logically then say A = C, if in reality B must equal A for C to be correct. Side: True.
Even if an atheist were to pick a religion, that doesn't automatically mean it would be the correct one. Going by the logic expressed in the opening post, you could argue that any system of belief is lose-lose. Technically if religious people are correct, then there won't be anyone around who disagreed with them for them to be able to say "I told you so" to either, which in itself is a questionsble value to be so concerned about. But then, say atheism or an ideology a religious person wasn't a part of ends up being correct, they'll likely suffer the same fate as a nonbeliever would. In this sense, are we not just better off picking whatever seems the most likely to us without worrying so much about consequences that may or may not even exist? Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
