For years I genuinely thought it was a form of modern music (of which I then steered clear of), it was only recently that I discovered it was a song.

However, I'm also the kind of person who thought 'dubstep' was a really famous artist which everyone talked about, but nobody had any pictures of him.

Do you know what the song means in English? It's actually almost exactly like the music here. The only difference is that it makes less sense.

But the song is SOOO catchy!!! I love it.

Generally, I dislike a lot of pop music done by English-speaking nations, namely the United States. But, East Asian pop is something I enjoy, because I don't understand the lyrics. Since I don't understand the lyrics, I don't have the ability to dislike the lyrics, and therefore the entire song, and instead just enjoy the beat.

And, I enjoy the beat of Gangnam Style. And for the few English words said in the song, they're funny and meaningless, so their ridiculousness doesn't ruin the beat for me.

Nonsense! I saw the video when it was a little baby, with just over a million views, making me roughly the millionthish person to see the video. I then watched it explode in popularity over the next few weeks.
