I knew you made this debate. Well bright has multiple meanings I mean this is a fun saying but thats about it. Logically it does not make sense. The way it uses it in this saying is that bright refering to inteligence, is the same as bright as in high levels of light. So no this saying does not make perfect sense but I get what your saying Joe. people apear intelligent until they speak. Dont judge a book by its cover Joe. Side: Dont judge a book by its cover

Well..., I use this information as follows. It is better to remain silent and let people wonder if you're an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it. In my case, I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut and my fingers off the key board ;) BTW, did I meet that a 50 character minimum rebuttal ;) Also, wouldn't that just make the dumb jokes even longer ;) Side: Explain
