Muslims should teach their children to eat with their left hand.

Apparently Muslims teach their hildren to wipe their butt with their left hand and eat with their right hand.  The left hand is the "unclean hand."  But let's get real, parents do not want to teach their kids which hand to use while masturbating and kids don't want their parents teaching them which hand to use.  So, kids are going to masturbate with their right hand which in turn makes the right hand unclean.  It's a lot easier to teach kids to wipe their butt with their right hand and eat with the left hand.  Much more practical.  Problem solved.

This also means that they would have to shake hands using the left hand, etc. which would make them more aware/sympathetic to the plight of left handed people. ;)

I agree, but I am confused by the masturbation comment; I have always needed both hands to masturbate.

Side: True.

I have always needed 2 hands to wipe my butt. Regardless, if you get invited over by a Muslim family for dinner, never tell them what you have told us here today ;)

Not if I only wash my rectum and never my penis and vagina.

Firstly, you can't have a penis and a vagina.

Secondly, if you're doing that, the hand that you eat with will be the least of your worries.

Alternatively... we just teach children to wash their hands?
