Hey I have 2 upvotes now! Wow people must be realizing that Donald Trump is a fascist conservative greedy capitalist like Hitler! If Hitler was a democratic-socialist, maybe the nazis wouldn't have done the hall of cost!

Jews are really Alien Superbeings but just don't know it.

Hitler knew it and saw them as a great threat to humanity.

His actions were justified.

Interesting concept. Can you elaborate?

Side: True.

You know Hitler had anti smoking laws. Does that mean anti smoking laws are bad? I don't like the argument "This idea is bad because this person arguably agreed with some of the idea."

OK...., so...., some of Hitler's ideas were good?

He was NATIONAL socialist and aligned himself with fascist and totalitarian leaders

, Far Right Mussolini and the empirical Hirohito and Tojo. (both ideologies advocate for an extreme nationalism with the reverence for a one leader. Which Nazi Germany did, Difference between them and the Fascists, is the national socialists extend that nationalism ,to ethnicity. Something Marxism doesn't do. Marxism advocates for the equality of all men and women, regardless of Class and Racial identity)

And Hitler Agreed with the Fascist and Far right Stalin, (who created Stalinism which was a Far right version of communism that Marx didn't create or advocate)

And when they went to war with each other the Nazi party hated the soviets and claimed them (like the U.S did during the 50s) Evil communists and started their own hatred for all communists, regardless of how Leftist Or Rightist they were.

And other than the holocaust. Hitler did have good ideas. He funded the production of a cheap car in Germany (Volkswagen today) and created the interstate. Creation of synthetic fuels. Advancing airplane tech and rocket tech.

And my last bit. He was big into military and advocated family values. Much like the conservatives of today do. In fact the republicans of today do that. So please tell me again about these "anti-smoking" laws that make him a liberal.

Aren't you forgetting Socialist/Communist Josef Stalin?

You mean the man who Hitler absolutely despised, and who did the majority of the damage against the Third Reich?

Side: True.

This is a laughable debate. The King of all Straw Men.

You and Outlaw both need to learn that socialists are not necessarily liberals. The NAZI party was a State Socialist Party yes, but that Party was also fiercely nationalistic; depostic; advocated huge military build-up and spending, as well as war and aggression. His message to the people was only socialist in the way that he pretended his goal was to empower them, and get them from under the deadly constraints of the Treaty of Versailles from WWI.

All this is decidedly NOT liberal ethos. Not to mention his mass genocide of the Jews. This is as far from liberalism--which espouses the rights and personal freedoms of individuals--as one can possibly get.

worse, the true liberals who were unfortunate enough to find themselves living in Hitler-era Germany were imprisoned and killed. The artists; the minorities; the writers who questioned the Government, et al.

Hitler was not a liberal, the Nazi party is considered to be right-wing, so more of a conservative. He allowed for private property(which is a right-wing concept and opposed by the left), but I would say he was more statist, leaning to the right.

Private property "opposed by the left"??? That must be a different "left" than I belong to. I consider myself a democratic socialist and I have NO problem with "private property", just not buying laws that allow "some" to slowly purchase America, piece by piece! That's what a "smaller", (more controllable) government would allow. If we could become a REAL Democracy, we could render lobbyists useless, and regain control of the government "BY THE PEOPLE", instead of corporate billionaires!

Fascism is philosophically opposed to liberalism. This was actually explained quite explicitly by Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile in the treatise "The Doctrine of Fascism".

National Socialism is actually a fairly apt nomenclature of the German absorption of Fascist ideals from a political standpoint, because Fascism specifically views the society, and its subsets of individuals, corporations and other legal entities as only relational to the nation-state apparatus.

It's also important to note that the Nazi party was quite literally the most right wing political option during Germany's elections, while they were still going on.

Hitler was fascist and this quote reflects rhetoric used by fascists to sieze any and all control necessary in the name of the state. Note fascism also rejects minority groups in favor of the dominant state majority (like exterminating Jews) which is demonstrably opposite of democratic socialism (which is about economic fairness and civil rights).

Socialist =/= liberal. .

Liberalism is one goose step away from socialism ;)

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!!

Last time I checked National socialism was Far-Right socially. Which means they actually were against abortion, For family, and at one point hated the communists just like America did in the 50s.

Fiscally they were left wing. But that has nothing to do with hitlers diplomatic and military views (both far right and not liberal at all)

But let me tell you this. Mussolini, Tojo and Hirohito, Were extremely Right wing and conservative. And they were allied with Hitler and committed atrocities and believed things as bad as Hitler. So if Hitler was truly leftist and liberal as you say why would he aly himself with those people.

AND if those conservative and right wing people believed those things. Then we shouldn't be conservative. Right?

(BTW Marxism is different from Leninism and Stalinism. Leninism and Stalinism were Far right ideologies while Marxism was pure leftist and is actual communism. What the Soviet union created was corrupted versions of marxism.) So I stand here and I say I am a communist

You are forgetting that Hilter was totally biased and he treated different groups of people differently to an extreme degree based on race and religious beliefs. So he might have been more liberal towards his chosen people, but to all others, he was a demon. A silver tongued demon.

Hitler went after the Jews. The SECOND group he went after was the SOCIALISTS, with just as much fervor! He was a NAZI. HE, like the communists, used the National "Socialist" title to help the PEOPLE believe they had a part in his Third Reich! The only part they had was to DIE for it!

Socialism .... people working together for the betterment of all, was only his intent as far as the rest of the world working for the betterment of pure Germans! (i.e., slavery!) He was NOT a socialist, any more than Stalin was!
