Yes because it worked so well last time it was attempted. :)

If we ban alcohol, we can reduce the number of abortions. ¯¯̿̿¯̿̿'̿̿̿̿̿̿̿'̿̿'̿̿̿̿̿'̿̿̿)͇̿̿)̿̿̿̿ '̿̿̿̿̿̿\̵͇̿̿\=(•̪̀●́)=o/̵͇̿̿/'̿̿ ̿ ̿̿

Ban alcohol, I drink too much.

My liver will probably thank you.

However, I were a drunk I'd find alcohol somehow and get drunk anyways.

If im sober and/or drunk, I'd probably sell the alcohol to friends and family.

So there's no use in banning alcohol now that I think about it.

Cheers. :D

The point of banning it isn't that the ban works. The more people we can lock up the more cheap prison labor there will be. Also everything around maintaining prisons is private, so it will benefit them as well.

Society is preferring values of empathy that are typical of females. Paternal authority demands that the man steps in and assertively makes the distinction between them and us: "Son, those drug dealers bad" Therefore legitimizing further his position as the brave guardian of his family. Recent developments in society have corroded this 1950's ideal.

The law is also fundamentally kick ass, especially when paired with tough sentencing. There is nothing like the face off between the lawful police man and the rebellious, unscrupulous young man.

The black market is an efficient way to distribute goods and services. They have been endorsed by the likes of Milton Friedman. It also adds to their pleasure, philosophical and psychological meaning. Now who would use drugs if they were illegal? Legalization fails the ABAP-test - as baller as possible.

Too many people are killed by drunk drivers. Also, there are domestic violence incidents caused through alcohol.

No. the government has no authority to ban it. They specifically repealed the amendment that gave them the authority.

Should we, yes. Can we no; just look at prohabition. That didn't work at all. We don't have the money or manpower to do that.

its a cultural thing, plus we need something to unwind with. what we need is people to learn how to control their emotions instead of drinking their sorrows away. been a man and a woman isn't just growing old, it means to be able to handle situations with a clear head.

If we try to ban alcohol there will be a huge outcry and major protesting because people want there beer but you can get killed from drinking too much and you can also get alcohol poisoning.

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

Agreed. The prohibition failed the first time, and it will most likely fail if attempted a second time.

Yep because I remember learning that in history class how American banned alcohol and back then there were a lot of people protesting. Imagine now how people would react if alcohol got banned? It would be chaos!

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

I doubt banning alcohol will get rid of alcohol.

On a relgious side, I believe alcohol is demonic and i don't think humanity should be associated with something like that. However, i am a hypocrite because i am fascinated by demons and spirits. OOOoooOOOoOoOo

Knives kill people but we need it.

Fists kill people but we need our hands.

My face can kill people but i need my face.

I fear that if society agrees to stop alcohol, society will crumble in the begining because alcoholics want their fix. And if people don't have their fix, they get grumpy and violent. But that is just a thought...not a fact.

I believe that moderation is always good. And too much of anything is bad. Don't ban alcohol for those who intakes alcohol with moderation. I will agree to help those who cannot take a moderate intake of alcohol.

In other words...Call Dr. Drew (Celebrity Rehab host)

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

They already tried that, and it resulted in the creation of organized crime in America.

How about no. The system we have right now for alcohol is fine. You get drunk and do stupid shit, you get arrested and treated to punishments. Thus, people have a good deal of incentive to not get drunk and do stupid shit.
