What if the rapture is nothing more than alien abductions on a massive scale?
Maybe they have a way of separating the good ones from the bad ones.

I think it'd be neat. The Urantians actually believe something similar to this. They believe Jesus was beamed into the mothership, went light speed to another galaxy, created a system of planets called Urantia, and will later come beam us up to take us there. True story. It's all in the "Urantia Book". 1
