G.H.W. led U.S. with kind words, not nasty tweets. No crooked Hillary, no Li'l Rubio, no porn star payoffs, no "Putin is a great leader, and when he tells me a lie, I believe him"! Maybe a sneaky remark about a magician, David Cop-a-feel, now and then, but, it was a whole different attitude. It always starts at the top, or should. I basically agree, though. 1

Using polite language does not make you a good person, the whole bush family is a seething bubbling bog of parasitic slime who should be placed into a giant toilet and flushed. I NEVER supported them. Dubya was the worst President of the 12 I'd experienced at that time. GHW I didn't vote for, but I wouldn't put HIM on a level with Dubya, and Trump has lowered the bar so far GHW looks like a saint in comparison. I at least "respected" GHW, he was voted in fairly, majority rules, my President with whom I disagreed often. I never supported the other two. He was the last Republican President. Dubya was the first Religious Right President, Hopefully the last. Trump is .... what you said in your last line. See, I'm trying to go along with Jolie, kind of a non-partisan thing. Well, technically, we've all survived to reach the age we are now (except those 17 in Florida), so in effect we HAVE gotten along pretty well. At least up until now. And then my other thought is if everybody was just getting laid more often we'd probably have fewer angry men going on shooting rampages. Let the love flow people. Teens and recent teens who go shoot up their schools tend to be the ones who don't get girls too often. |
