Is the media racist?

If you were a reporter, would rather go to the Middle East and Africa or would you rather go to Paris?

Hmmm... hard choice. One place is not trusted, another aimed for terrorists, and another one that will probably too protected. TOO PROTECTED.

The western media most certainly does report on terrorist attacks in the regions to which you referred. I.S, atrocities in Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Kenya and many others have all been given wide coverage in the media. I wonder how much reporting is dedicated to the carnage caused by the Muslim murder squads in the west by the media of Middle Eastern and African countries.

The media is not racist, it's just that the place is not that famous and won't be seen often bad happening to them. Africa is not being talked about except for... those people "asking for donations to Africa"... and how the droughts is the only thing they usually talk about on Africa. I'll try and see what the Middle East has in the edit to see if they have anything shocking...

Edit: The Middle East looks like they suffer a good amount of criminal activity and police aren't that well to stop it... at all.

Americans just don't care when brown people are killing each other in the Middle East or even in the States. Notice how the actual violence in Syria has taken the back seat to the threat of violence in Europe (where the white people are).

1. Terrorist attacks happen there frequently so reporting about it would be tough

2. They aren't usually involved with Western media

3. Not reporting there isn't discriminating them

4. Really? It's incredibly hot and in a state of civil unrest, Would YOU go there?

5. An attack like this hasn't occurred in Paris since WW2

The media is bought and paid for by corporations from both parties.
