If they legalize marijuana, what would their commercials be like?
Probably like Budweiser Beer commercials.
Guy 1: "Hey, what'd ya doing?"
Guy 2: "Watching the game, smoking a bud."
Guy 3: "Waaasssuuuuppp?"
all of them in unison: "Waaasssuuuuppp?"
Currently the majority of the people are using apps instead of browsers. Apps typically access public databases and proprietary data instead of HTML pages. This means that WEB pages will become become increasingly less and less relevant. The value of HTML is that anyone can publish (a free and open flow of information). Apps have the potential to make the WEB less open.
As more and more people stop using browsers and start using apps instead, the WEB as we know it will change. When you use a browser, you don't have to accept a license agreement that basically states they are going to be invading your privacy. And yet, more and more people are opting to accept the licensing agreements that come with apps.
Programs are being written that analyses and interprets your data in order to determine what you like and don't like. It can then provide you with a view of the WEB that is customized for you. It will validate your view of the world. The more feed back you get that your view of the world is correct, and the more people you know that believe the same way, the more connected you will feel. It's a religious effect.
The internet will become our new God. It will know everything you ask of it (just Google it). It will allow you to interact with things remotely because it will be able to control things that are connected to it (like the thermostat in your home). It will learn about a given demographic and adjust itself accordingly (If you are in North Korea, it will block America's concept of freedom). It will replace the current banking system because you cannot trust bankers to do the right thing but you can trust Bitcoin. It will keep you under surveillance with all the cameras that are connected to it. It will be able to recognize your face and your voice. It will have multiple sensors to determine temperature, brightness, spacial orientation, geo location position, etc. And it will love you unconditionally.
What more can you ask of a God?
Legalizing marijuana would have four immediate effects:
1. Stimulate the economy through taxation and sales.
2. Make people not care ;)
3. Reduce the jail population thus saving money.
4. Increase the sale of snack foods.
Why don't we just give him a $100K a year to stay crime free? It will reduce over crowding in the jails and we'll save $30K a year per criminal.
I also wonder if judges take into consideration the value of what was stolen before sentencing. For example, if someone steals a car worth $60K, does he get a year in jail? Who's getting the worst end of the deal? I mean, tax payers pay $130K to protect a $60K car. it doesn't add up.
If there's one thing politicians rely on, is you forgetting the last scam they tried to put on the American people. I remember clearly the 'Next Ice Age' is coming scare in the '70's. Now, I can see it for what it was then and what the whole global warming issue is now.
Here is a couple of articles from the '70's of the coming 'Ice Age' and how man is the evil behind it.
Here is one from....should I say?....ok..I will....Time Magazine in 1974

Not to be outdone by Time magazine, here is an article from 'Newsweek' in 1975;

Overall, in the study as in the real world, there was indeed a moderate correlation between more "feminine" male faces and being gay. That doesn't mean this relationship holds up in all individuals, but it's true as a statistical average across large numbers of people.
Conservatives had better gaydar when it came to categorizing these stereotypical individuals. However, liberals did better on categorizing non-stereotypical subjects, where conservatives' gut classification approach broke down and they actually fared worse. Neither group was more accurate overall, however.
At this point you're probably wondering: What clues were the liberals going on in the study, if not facial stereotypes?
As it turns out, when the researchers ran the study again with one key modification, they were able to come up with an intriguing answer to this question. This time around, roughly half of the test subjects were required to remember a bit of gibberish—"7T4$RF%"—and type it in after every five faces that they saw. Obviously, this exercise is highly distracting—and that's precisely the point. It took up thinking bandwidth—and when thus distracted, liberals behaved just as the conservatives had in the first study. Now, they too relied on gender stereotypes to decide whether individuals were gay or straight.
In other words, it appears that liberals and conservatives alike snap to initial, stereotypical judgments about a person's sexual persuasion based on facial features
Illegals have a traditional family structure. If we want to get rid of illegals, we have to destroy their traditional family structure. We do this through the following methods:1. Legalize marijuana and hand it out in high school, along with condoms.2. Allow schools to facilitate abortions without the parents consent/knowledge.3. Legalize gay marriage.4. Remove "In God we trust" from our money and declare that the U.S. is an atheist country.
