or the false prophet of Rev 13
If the Final False Prophet spoken of in Revelation 13 is indeed Pope Francis .. then >> I'm expecting << all of the secular humanistic left / atheistic / false-religious-system / anti-christ / homosexual / and all the Biblical Harlot folk spoken about in Revelation 17 to glob-on to / applaud / accept and follow this guy .. He will literally rally them all together ...... My real point of observation will be IF & WHEN Pope Francis gets on the same page with and starts pointing to and singing the praises of a particular (RISING STAR) powerful political figure ........ time will tell . . . http://dadmansabode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=801#p801
Winning Position: The Doctrines of Grace
At some time in your Christian life, you may have struggled with questions like, When a sinner is saved, who chooses whom—does God choose the sinner, or the sinner choose God? Did Christ die for the sins of everyone, or just the people He saves? The vast majority of those kinds of thorny, persistent, mind-boggling questions are directly related to the sovereignty of God, election, predestination, perseverance, and the question of “free will.” Those, of course, are doctrines associated with Calvinism. All are vital to a sound, biblical understanding of the gospel, but they are not without difficulty. In The Doctrines of Grace, John MacArthur takes you to God’s Word and walks you through challenging truth that’s often neglected, maligned, or mischaracterized, but critical for every Christian to understand. This series will help you come to grips with what you believe about God, the gospel, and the nature of man ................ http://www.gty.org/products/Audio-Series/280/The-Doctrines-of-Grace

what does biblical salvation mean
Man's problem: man is spiritually dead and in need of life
God created Adam and said to him, "You are free to eat from the tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."God gave Adam the choice to either remain dependent on him for life or to become independent from him which is spiritual death.Wanting to become like God, Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and that day he died spiritually. Each of us are born into this world in the likeness of Adam. Sin and death has been passed on to every human being.Romans 5:12 .. therefore .. just as through one man sin entered into the world .. and death through sin .. and so death spread to all men .. because all sinnedEphesians 2:01 .. and you were dead in your trespasses and sins
this is just an opening statement .. please keep your comments contained to Christianity and Bible based . . . dadman
