I was wondering where all the good niggas had gone.

American liberals are about as far removed from liberalism, as are American republicans from republicanism. What originated as serious political division, has descended into a grotesque parody of Robin Hood.

I am confident that Hamilton and Jefferson, by so many matters divided, would, if they were to see it, be united in disappointment.

To my knowledge, England has been straddled by Germans since the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (Now known as the house of Windsor [1]) ascended to the throne.

"bottem" (<--- English pronunciation. Hope you like an English accent

The correct pronunciation is "posterior".

Je suis à cheval sur la grammaire!

You get an upvote for this. Enjoy!

Felicitations! Excelsior!

It's rather moot unless you consider yourself fit to play a significant part in the strengthening and healing of ALL others.

Not interacting with the universal set of the Earth's human population does not preclude interaction with persons who do not subscribe to the 1st Tenet of your moral code, sir. And therefore the question I put to you is thus: Is one obliged to strengthen those who would do one harm?

The same rights you enjoy.

So the code only applies to those living under the auspice of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and where those rights are actively enforced? What for North Koreans? What for Somalians?

I have no authority to disallow a person freedom of conscience.

Though you presume the authority to dictate the terms whereby a moral individual ought to live?

e making a "thou shalt" statement doesn't revoke anyones rights.

Then surely you cannot, sir, render a commandment that inhibits one's right to wish harm upon others?

Did I make a command?

'Thou shalt...'

Thou shalt understand them as commands if thats your disposition.

Ah, humour. Very good, sir.

I see you are up to your usual ironic and overtly facile mischief. Carry on.

1. Thou shalt take part in the healing and strengthening of oneself and others.

All others, or just those dispose to reciprocate?

2. Thou shalt recognize rights of others equal to your own, and never desire harm upon someone, but healing.

What are these rights? If one is not allowed to wish harm upon another person, is it not the case that freedom of conscience is not among those rights? If so sovereign and important a right has thus been revoked, what other rights can possibly have escaped the same fate?

8. Thou shalt mature past the leader/follower mentality, neither desiring to give commands or obey them.

Does the irony of commanding somebody not to obey commands escape you?

Ne lui parlez Jamais comme ça.

perhaps, by tricking us into saving the old lady, they are hoping to keep all of our perfect mates for themself!

Or perhaps they secretly fancy our best friend, and want our perfect mate to ask them out on their behalf, but are to embarrassed by our presence?

Either that or they fancy the old lady and cannot bare to see them die, but suffer from acute Nosocomephobia.

It is a splendid erection.

I think any answer is the best answer.

Is there any other reason you would have given it?

The Great and powerful Qymosabi.....has spoken

And has once again revealed himself to be an idiot. By the way, an ellipsis (of aposeopesis or otherwise) is only meant to be three periods long, followed by a space. You use them both incorrectly and far too frequently.

Why would blacks leave America if it became a third world country? Wouldn't they be right at home?

I believe the term is "pwned".

We should fly a plane into the center of Mecca!

A startling coincidence; I had always planned to do so as an octogenarian.

That was cool.

Its the teeth that disgust me.

I think that other side will win the debate. They are far smarter than any of us on this side.

Infernal Americans and your mysterious brand-names.

And like in government, CD never has and is never going to "redistribute wealth" or points.

We shall ignore this for the purpose of debate.

Pretend that CD is government, and points are money as Joe's analogy goes. Except that we all have to give back a certain percentage of our points (taxes) in order to keep CD running.

Yes, and those who argue the most or who have found clever ways of exploiting the point system (I. E. nonsense debates) will also contribute a percentage, which will amount to more than most other people will contribute.

So, say CD can't run without points. It would stand to reason then, that those who are reaping the most benefits should contribute more to keep CD running

Why? What are they getting that others aren't?

Right now CD is only taking in 9000 points a month, that means each month that passes they owe China another 1000 points plus interest on those points owed.

CD should scale back on its military spending.

In order to fix this CD proposes a 2% point hike for the top 1% point earners - those who use CD the most, those who reap the most benefit from CD.

That benefit is, presumably, measured in points. What extra benefit are they getting if their points are stolen simply because they are earning them?

That sounds pretty fair to me.

You with 1/6 of JC's points. Of course it sounds fair to you.

After all, 2% of Joe and Terminator's points per month isn't really going to effect their daily lives in the least

How do you know that? Would 2% of your points affect your lifestyle?

and it will ensure all the school kids grow up smart enough to contribute to the CD point system someday, and it ensures our computers aren't stolen.

Education and policing are not the only things CD spends its points on. Perhaps CD should not have recapitalised so many degenerate corporations?

In fact as with what happened in the 90's, this small point hike strengthens the middle classes, making for a more vibrant CD economy because more people can buy computers, type, and earn points.

Vibrant until CD squanders it all and then blames its users... again.

This actually gives Terminator and Joe more reason to post, thus they actually make more points shortly following this modest point tax - just like in the 90's.

More post = more points. That's the principal here is it not? So I post more, thus I must be taxed more? You seem to forget that if people like Joe and TERMINATOR left, CD would wither and die. I can't think of another debate site so I'll just drop the metaphor here: Microsoft is no use to America if it has moved to China.

After a few years of this (again like in the 90's) we have a balanced point system and are no longer paying interest on points to China.

You underestimate the scale of the interest payments. You are also misplacing the blame for Government borrowing.

Joe and many others apparently have the mind of a child.

Explaining why they have more points than you do.

It is difficult to understand concepts like this when one only thinks in two word slogans like "wealth redistribution" "death panel" etc.

How about "Keep your proletariat hands away from my points"?

I have noticed this too. Wikipedia loads in about .3 seconds, CD can take about 15 - 20.

Attacking the West may be their way of committing suicide.

there is a difference, kids would be more patriotic if they new we owned an empire instead of being a little island

The Empire is redundant. We have all of the resources we needed, which we can obtain for next to nothing.

you really think that we would be allowed to make our own rules when the European Parliament comes to power

Yes. The parliament governs EU policy, not the laws of individual states. Some of the boons of EU membership are:

A) Universal travel and citizenship entitlement.

B) EU-wide consumer rights.

C) Common defence policy.

I agree with you there another Hitler wouldn't be so bad, especially since he supported empires.

Again, Empires are redundant.

what would you rather do own somewhere or be friends with the people who own it( even though they could back stab you anytime they like)

You think Africa or India have the power to "back-stab" us?

Britain was the world's most dominant superpower when we had an empire. but due to some jealous people(cough.. cough ..America.. cough.. cough) we had to give it up.

We didn't have to do anything.
