Can blacks be racist?
Can blacks be racist? The answer, of course, will depend on how you define racism. If you define it as “prejudice against or hatred toward another race,” then the answer is yes. If you define racism as “the belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race,” the answer is yes. And if you define racism as “prejudice and discrimination rooted in race-based loathing,” then the answer is, again, yes. However, if you define racism as “a system of group privilege by those who have a disproportionate share of society’s power, prestige, property, and privilege,” then the answer is no. In the end, it is my opinion that individual blacks can be and sometimes are racists. However, collectively, blacks are neither the primary creators nor beneficiaries of the racism that permeates society today.

The "rascist" things said about white people are incredibly benign when compared to black steretypes. You're not going to lose a shot a getting a job or get harassed by a cop because you "can't dance" or "like starbucks a little too much". The racism against whites in our country amounts to very very little detriment. Note: I'm not saying that blacks are incapable of racism, just that in regards to racism, whites have a moderate amount of gain and a negligible amount to lose. Side: Nope.

Marty (Martin Luther King Jr. (yes, we were that close. He called me joey.)) wrote, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Which basically means that no one gets a free ride. If you're racist, whether or not you have power means shit. Well..., it means that if you have power you WILL fuck the object of your racism ;) Side: Yup.

It's not technically racism if a black makes fun of a white, at least within the US. This is because of the prejudice history of blacks... However: What if a black makes fun of an Asian? What if they make fun of other black people? There are people who hate their own race. I've never known any personally, but I know their out there. Side: Yup.
