The ones doing the censoring are the dictators ;)

"Amazon, Apple and Google all cited the same reason for their decisions to ban Parler — namely, that the company was not doing enough to police language that incites violence."

The asshole just below this post incites violence every day and he's allowed to continue posting ;)

Wellllll see, a wannabe dictator can't really be held up to the standards of an actual dictator. Like many things in his life, Trump failed that particular endeavor.

Hello joe:

It tells me that in a FREE country where FREE markets are celebrated, there are companies like Twitter who have the FREEDOM to wield their wealth in any way they choose..

I thought right wingers LOVED freedom.. No, huh??

PS> By the by, I don't suppose you complained when the Koch brothers were FREE to spend billions on right wing causes.. Nahh, you didn't..

Tells us that the real power lies in silicon valley.

It seems like it's not just the president either. Lots of people losing follwers en masse. It seems it's a purge.

I guess it's a good thing we've got the internet nowadays, because in the old days when someone wanted to silence you, you were killed.

YESSS! How is it that no one isn’t in the slightest deranged by the fact that our freedom of speech is in the hand of Google and Apple?

This is the golden irony of right wing thinking. These guys are getting militant because they believe (rightfully so, in fairness) that big company giants have become too powerful, but at the same time it was their policies which empowered them!! They were so anti-government regulation that they no less than demanded these companies be permitted to consolidate the market.

I can't stand what is happening right now. You have to check who is being appointed by the Biden administration - almost every new person there is related to Google, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter- so all these tech companies that are limiting freedom of speech.

I also hate the hypocrisy of the left. 'These are privately owned businesses, so they can ban who they want!' Oh really? So let me also ban LGBT people from my restaurant, because I'm also the private owner...

That says that Google and Apple hold in their hands our freedom of expression.

They make their rules and who should and shouldn’t be banned. These rules are not based a vote because it is their company. So their rules.

Yeah everyone is happy about it because not having trump tweets is breath of fresh air but I’ve seen social media bans be sexist or even racist. So don’t expect that google or FaceTime have the same moral compasses as we do. They don’t care about us . They care about money and power.

It makes me laugh because these big companies hold a shit ton of our liberties in their hands but dumbass Americans are focusing on democrats and republicans. God. People are dumb.

If these MAGA took a small step back and removed that QAnon shit, they will see they have a common fight with their so called enemies: antifascists, and MAGA all NO longer trust the government. Whether the government is democrat or republican. The American system is shit. PERIOD

If the millions of Trump's supporters feel that their leader is being gagged by the social media giants and perceive that his/their political expressions are being distorted and misquoted by the main-stream media they will find other, less democratic ways to make their voice heard.

The history books record the inevitable violent outcome when people are denied the opportunity to voice their opinions or air their grievances through normal channels.

Ever heard of ''The Boston Tea Party''?

''The French Revolution''?

The Nancy Pelosi irrational personal vendetta against Trump is careering out of control at full steam ahead.

Her ill-thought-out aim of instigating an impeachment against Trump would almost certainly back-fire on the American people if she was successful.

Such an impeachment would only serve to further isolate and impassion the Trump supporters and incite them to ever escalating levels of violent riots.

For whatever reason 'we are where we are' and any methods used to deal with the CRISIS must be of a nature which will calm emotions and pave the way for lasting reconciliation and a return to normal opposition practices.

The anti-Trump mob sees 'blood in the water' and this has whipped them up into a mindless killing frenzy without giving due consideration to the probable outcome of such a move.

It tells me that when a fascist dictator incites an armed coup to try to seize power by force it still isn't enough of a clue for people who are as stupid as you are.

They weren't armed, no guns in DC. You're betraying that you didn't watch any of the videos.

From what I saw it doesn't look like a coup. It's a bunch of Trump supporters protesting what they believe was a stolen election. In some places it turned into a riot and that's not ok, like there was clearly some fist fghts with the cops. But seriously, most of them are walking around with police supervising them and blocking them from certain areas inside the buillding, taking pictures like tourists and gathering content for their streams. It's a bunch of morons. I find it laughable that these are the terrorists that I'm supposed to fear, because I've seen far worse than this. Actually I find it scary that the perspective of the events have been so drastically warped on twitter and in the media.

Look, just go find some unedited footage and watch it through.

"Mostly peaceful" was as inappropriate a characterization of riots throughout 2020, as it is in 2021.

Fistfights with cops is what we have come to expect from certain people who don't stereotypically support police. If the people with the blue line flags are now throwing down with police, then what support do police have left?

Dan Crenshaw has a podcast. He made a statement about what happened in a recent episode. I recommend you give a listen to the first 15 minutes or so.

If massive public figures like the president don't have a platform for mass communication, how can we hold them accountable for their words to the masses?

If you ensure all the fascists shut up, how do you know who the fascists are?

There’s a thing called newspapers apparently they will print mostly anything once it’s controversial enough

What you’re really saying is people like Trump and anyone powerful enough should not have to be held accountable to a forums site rules that applies to the ordinary Joe , right?

If you ensure all the fascists shut up, how do you know who the fascists are?

Maybe the type of fascists you speak off need to go back to “finishing school “to learn the basics again ?

You do say an awful lot of stupid things Amarel ......maybe take a breath before you type next time?

If massive public figures like the president don't have a platform for mass communication,

Hello A:

Huh???

There's a room in the White House, not 50 feet from the Oval Office, called the Briefing Room.. Right now, this very moment, there's about 50 people lounging around in there just WAITING for the door to open and Trump to appear.

Were he to waltz in, every word he'd speak would be broadcast around the world IMMEDIATELY.
