This is Yet Another Game (YAG).
It is also an example of how perspective debates can be used.

Obama has gotten us deeper into debt, passed his Obama care and got us into a new war... The debt, healthcare and war aren't going to be cheap, so the government will have to 1. cut the budget (which they almost never do) or 2. Get more money. And how dose the government get money? They get it from the tax payers, so he didn't directly raise taxes, but his actions will cause the government to take more from the tax payers, so its not a direct tax increase, but it will come soon enough. Obama has gotten us deeper into debt But the rate of the debt increase has slowed and spending has been cut. Meanwhile, national debt is a red herring. It's a distraction. The U.S. has one of the lowest debt rates /GDP of the free world and there is no correlation between government debt and individual jobs anyway. Jobs are the problem right now, not debt. One of the most effective ways to increase jobs is ironically, to take out more debt short term. So the red herring has nefarious results. Obama care and got us into a new war ... you mean he ended a war and got a terrorist Bush couldn't get for 7 years right? passed his Obama care Which will save the U.S. billions, improve healthcare, and save lives. Every country with a similar plan pays less for better healthcare. Something had to be done and he did it. Plus, his Obama care is one of the most popular pieces of legislation ever when specific parts are described, from insurance not being allowed to drop people for pre-existing conditions, to children staying on parent's health plans for longer. And it's already saved money. Individually the same people who think they are or will pay more (kind of like the tax thing) have actually paid less on average just since its introduction. but his actions will cause the government to take more from the tax payers, so its not a direct tax increase, but it will come soon enough. ._. Yes, be afraid, be very afraid... |
