If you're serving a life sentence and you die - but you are resuscitated - are you free

There is already a precedence for this.
Jesus died on the cross and then he came back to life
(not as a zombie, mind you, but I digress...)
Anyway, the point is that the Romans did not put Him back on the cross.
As far as they were concerned, He served His life sentence.

How else would you deal with people who are reincarnated ;)

Side: True.

Unfortunately not. A life sentence usually comes with a minimum term in years. At least that's the way I always understood it. Not that I'm a lawyer or anything.

You are never free, even when you're not imprisoned. Your sentence applies first in years, as BurritoLunch the Ramshutu alt tells us, then it applies to you the person not your body. It's not really a life sentence, it's a 'rot to death' sentence. If your death is negated, it's still applying.

You were the same person after resuscitation as you were before your temporary demise. Same person, same life, same sentence.

I laughed a little at this. I would guess no.

Even though you died technically, when you are brought back to life you still have a life sentence to serve, if that includes dying again then you're in for a wild ride.

That was the whole point of this debate. I guess my work here is done ;)
