People who are against gun control are NOT violent.
One of the accusations leveled against people who like guns and want nothing to do with gun control, is that they are violent. If you do not want any restrictions placed on gun ownership you must be a violent person. The fact is, however, that the exact opposite is true. People who want to own guns freely, are not violent people. If gun owners were violent, there wouldn't be any gun control advocates.

I'm not saying that people who love guns are violent but I don't really understand why do people need guns. Pardon me if I'm wrong (I'm from Europe) but I've read some article saying that arond 40% of people in USA posses some kind of firearm. It is okay if somebody is having job that requiers it but I doubt that there are so many people of this kind. As far as I know America is well developed country and people don't need to cary guns on streets in order to protect themselves. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

Our right to keep and bear arms is not based upon a need. It is based upon the knowledge of the fact - that "it is better for the people to have guns the ability to defend themselves and their rights and not need them - than it is for them to need gun to defend those things and not have them."
