Should we bio-engineer ourselves to adapt to climate change?
Why didn't I think of that?

We already are. We are constantly changing minutely all the time and we can measure this over time by looking at the same people over several generations. Medical science is constantly improving and gene shearing and genetic engineering have been around for quite a while now. Eventually we will be able to have a simple blood test at birth and potential future medical conditions will be able to removed. When we can use RNA molecules to shear cancer causing genetic material that will be a big step. Its all only just around the corner. Side: Why didn't I think of that?
I believe you are correct, however, we must first survive, have drinkable water, beat off those who would fight us to GET drinkable water while we spend every hour trying to protect ourselves from UV rays also. If we survive all that, and there are still some left with the intellectual ability to solve genetic problems .... yeah, all that good "stuff" may bet done! Side: Why didn't I think of that?

The fact that renewable resources of energy all coincide with reduced climate change means that whether fossil fuels contribute to global warming or not, it is undeniably a better investment to switch to renewable resources for the long-term benefit of any nation intending to have electricity and heating in their homes once the non-renewable resources run out. Incidentally, since doing this will also reduce climate change, no such drastic measure is necessary. :) Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

Locking the barn door after the horse was stolen has been a mistake for centuries! Why do so many think it's still the best idea? Whatever happened to: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure?? Oh .... that's one of them "liberal" ideas. Conservatives would rather spend billions in tax money later, than reduce the extreme profits of the polluters a few million now! Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
