so should they be tolerant of others who don't agree with it. Hello High: Absolutely. However, being tolerant of ones personal beliefs is distinct from tolerating discrimination in the workplace. Tolerance STOPS when personal beliefs turn into ACTION. A business owner can HATE gays in his heart, but he CANNOT refuse to do business with them.. Business owners obtain a license from the city for permission to do business with the PUBLIC, and gay people are the public.. excon Side: Wait..., what? No!

Homophobia isn’t real, it is an excuse to judge others. I am a lesbian. I am not attracted to men. I have no desire to sexually be with a man. I physically cannot help that. Now “homophobia” on the other hand is a choice. They choose to look down upon something that has nothing to do with them, and it affects how others feels. Like a favorite color, mine is yellow, yours might not be. That doesn’t hurt my feelings, it’s a reasonable difference in opinion. That’s perfectly okay! ‘I’m scared of gays’ ‘Gays are disgusting’ is an unreasonable opinion used to hurt someone else. Side: Wait..., what? No!
What if homophobes cannot help being homophobic any more than a gay man can stop being gay Hello again, joe: Same answer as earlier.. We'll NEVER stop a homophobe from being a homophobe.. But, we can STOP him from discriminating against gay people.. You know, like recognizing their Constitutional right to marry.. excon Side: Wait..., what? No!
