But there are a lot of people who prefer convenience above all else. I mean, take the "old countries" for example. They would rather sit outside a café enjoying an expresso (or cappuccino) while eating a baguette. Yeah, the café is probably an old, run down building but..., it's easier to do that than build a new one. Especially when you call it, "history!" That's NOT a history I'd be proud of - unless, of course, you think the wrong side won the civil war.. Nonetheless, statues of these traitors are part of our history, and should be relegated to museums, where history is venerated, and out of the public square where hero's are venerated.. It's to let the shit in the convicted murderer bubble and simmer as he/she sits for years considering their well deserved fate. Each conscious minute of every day would be dominated with the walk to their designated means of the execution. Their disturbed sleep would be one long, torturous nightmare of images and sounds of their final moments before death. SLAP IT UP THEM. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
