There are very few that want to "ban guns". Assault weapons and extended magazines are another matter! They are killing machines, designed for just THAT. We, the people, are sorry that we rattle your ego, but, time to GROW UP! You don't NEED an assault weapon to protect yourself ... if you do, and you can't do it with 10-15 rounds in a semi-automatic pistol, you are either a horrible shot (try a shotgun), or have a hell of a lot of enemies and , maybe, deserve to die. I'm sorry. I often agree with you, but, the thought that you have to protect yourself from a democratic government is ludicrous. What are you going to do? Shoot American Soldiers when "they come for you"?? No American army is going to amass against American citizens! They WOULD amass against an American Government that went after American citizens without reason ... a VERY damned GOOD reason! Taking over the country would REQUIRE an army! You will notice the "alleged" "Obama Secret Army" NEVER materialized, simply because it never existed other than in the sick racial minds of a group of whacko conservatives. He did NOT attempt to become "King". He used executive powers less often than Saint Reagan, Dubya and many other Presidents ... and always to get something done FOR America that was gridlocked by those who swore to not let ANYTHING he needed .... If we ban everything that has had a taste of the violence that a maniac wielding guns can bring about, we need to then ban Universities (VT massacre), Community College's (Umpqua Community College in Oregon), Churches (Charleston, SC church murders), Elementary Schools (Newtown, Conn. Sandy Hook Elementary massacre) and movies theater's (Aurora Colorado) just to name a few. To suggest banning a gay club would solve anything means you don't quite grasp what the problem is.
