You can blame everything on terrorism.

Some people like to blame some things on Global Warming, but if you just say that the terrorists are responsible for global warming, then you have just simplified the debate.

Some people want to blame Obama for stuff but he's a terrorist so...

Do you blame the terrorists for terrorism or terrorism for the terrorists?

I blame the terrorist for everything. If my computer doesn't work, "It's a terrorist plot meant to keep me away from CD." If there are obstacles preventing me from getting my job done, "It's a terrorist plot meant to undermine my efforts to get my job done on a reasonable amount of time." There was a time when I used to blame everything on the communists but then the wall came down. It took a while before I found out I could just replace communists with terrorists. I guess if we ever defeat the terrorists, I'll have to start blaming the liberals.

Yes, there is absolutely no doubt that terrorism is causing considerable social disruption, harm and suffering, and each incident helps the media to build a picture that is becoming bigger every day.

Whilst terrorism is being used and supported by powers to suit their own agendas, it has the potential for being used by other powers to rationalise the need to introduce powers and legislation to justify protection of the public and our freedoms.

Terrorism has been with us for centuries by various radical groups previously known as "freedom fighters" who resisted their oppressors from Afghanistan to Persia, from Ireland to Kenya, from Spain to South America, and has become such a media road show that there is a danger of public indoctrination to be afraid.

Without fear terrorism has no strength and the French people clearly demonstrated that after the "Charlie" attack.
