The joy of refuting bullshit has a certain amount of utility, so some arguments are refuted. The marginal utility of producing bullshit is greater than that of refuting it. So, while some arguments are refuted, most go unrefuted. Marginal utility is not necessarily rational. By refuting bullshit only some of the time, the production of bullshit is encouraged. Thus, it is more reasonable to never argue with an idiot.
There are lots of good choices, and a few terrible ones.
It's not a legal right to kill you 6 month old child. Sitara likely holds that, though they are not the same, the unborn child is a life deserving of legal protection though left without it. I'm willing to bet that 99% of the Suffragettes would have been against abortion (if the topic were ever considered). I'm sure they count as feminists.
You have to meet some criteria, and being pro-choice is not a requirement.
Just to clarify. Sitara is against abortion the same way anyone would be against a woman's right to choose to kill her 6 month old. No one gets that choice, it's not a right. If you believe that the embryo is a human, you are likely pro-life but you can still be very much a feminist.
That sounds like what you just said about the Quran. Jesus could have gotten it all down without knowing how to read or right as well.
Oh I don't actually know. Sometimes people think that if you don't agree, then you must not be listening or you don't understand. Srom usually knows that people actually disagree with him, but in this case it appeared to be the former.
If you had listened to him, and what he says is true, then you would agree with him by now. Since you don't agree, you must not have been listening. This statement is true. I said so.
I'm glad to see someone say it. A Similar topic that seems more untouchable is culture. Just because it's someones culture doesn't mean it's good or even ok. Think about cultures built around human sacrifice. And just to stay on topic, their beliefs are stupid too.
