Good point :P I could go either way really. I get very angry at idiotic people but I have sympathy at the same time.

I agree. Both children and elderly people. They're both more vulnerable than typically much stronger 20-50 year old adults. And yes, I believe it was based on chivalry originally for women and children to evacuate first. I'm assuming women were involved due to the fact they were seen as inferior, but that's just how I see it. But men want to not die just as much as women, so quite honestly they should go out at the same time if they're 20-50 lol.

I don't think so. Some people see it as empowering and inspiring, while others see the old Bruce gone and her family heartbroken. I think it's just odd to people to see a sports star become transgender. I believe "normal" people would become more comfortable with transgender people if a transgender who was just "a face in the crowd" would share his/her story instead. It's always odd to see public icons change so dramatically. It would also make people believe that, because they're famous, they're doing it all for attention. This could also carry over into real life to make people believe transgenders are all about attention. That's obviously not the case, but Caitlyn's case could be misleading.

I think, if possible, "stupid people" (though I use this term a lot, it looks hideous on a website seeming so professional to me :P) should be taught more about whatever they're joining and made sure they understand what they're doing before joining. I agree, they should not be in positions of power, but kindness is FAR more important than whether you are intelligent or not. Just last year our teacher said this student was constantly made fun of for their stupidity when they're my friend and happen to be very nice. Stupidity is not always a bad thing. Sometimes it's simply a different way of viewing the world, but I feel very sorry for those who are ridiculed for their stupidity. They should not be in positions of power, but again, those people should be educated on whatever they're getting into.

Being a feminist and being uptight has nothing to do with each other. Anytime someone is passionate about an issue or belief, people consider them uptight. For example, saying "vegetarians are uptight" is a completely ridiculous stereotype. Just because you don't eat meat doesn't mean you're snobby, think you're better than everyone else and are completely estranged from everyone else. Some feminists, I admit, do go a bit out of control with their anger. However, many people nowadays blow off issues that are important. The people who recognize these issues and try to voice their opinions are often laughed off. People in this age try to pretend everything's alright. If you have a slight heart problem, everything's going to be alright. However, this could develop into a much bigger problem if not treated. The same goes for women's rights. If people keep pretending that everything that's wrong is alright, more of these bad behaviors will occur. People who seem "uptight" are actually strong-willed free thinkers. They're not afraid to voice their opinions no matter how ridiculed they are. People like these helped African Americans gain their freedom. They were laughed at, ridiculed and estranged from society. Without free thinkers like these, issues will never be solved. So not all feminists are uptight. Stereotypes inflate small attributes of a small group of people to cover the whole group of people. Some people take it to extremes, but it is definitely not a bad thing to be a feminist. If you think you're uptight just because you're a feminist, know that all of those stereotypes are crap.
