It does seem to make a lot of sense. The God in the old testament is very different from the God in the new testament ;)

God evolved from a being who appeared to have had a LOT of interaction with ancient people to an antisocial asswipe who is too busy banging mother nature to show himself.

As God evolved everything else evolved with God, which explains how evolution started.*

He does evolve with the times, or at least his words, and how they are meant to be taken do. Once upon a time Bible was law, and it was an absolute true story meant to guide your life directly. Now it's a loose amalgam of tales meant to give you ideas on how lead a life that will allow you into heaven.

If God evolved then it means that complexity came from simplicity which in turn explains how complexity can be seen in the universe.
