From now on, I am going to answer every question as a presidential candidate.
I've decided that from now on, I am going to answer every question as a presidential candidate might answer them.
"Hey joe, what are you gonna do this weekend?"
"That's a great question and an important one too. And I will go something this weekend. But let me take a step back and answer a broader question. What are we all going to do this weekend? As a nation? As a world? This weekend I will do somrhting comprehensive and robust, yet fun. We all should."
"Yeah but..., what are you going to do?"
"What I'm going to do involves 3 things. First, it's going to be relaxing; Second, It's going to be enjoyable; Lastly, I'm going to make sure that it is cost-effective so that I don't get into a deficit. Four weeks ago, I said that I was going to do something - and I did. This weekend will be no different!"
Cool. That's funny.

We have been told we cannot do something this weekend by a chorus of cynics who will only grow louder and more dissonant as the weekend nears. We’ve been asked to pause for a reality check. We’ve been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope. But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope. For when we have faced down impossible odds; when we’ve been told that we’re not ready, or that we shouldn’t try, or that we can’t, generations of Americans have responded with a simple creed that sums up the spirit of a people. Yes we can. We can, and we will, do something this weekend. ;) Side: Cool. That's funny.
