Is it good practice to avoid looking up whenever you see the shadow of a pigeon?

Little birdie in the sky

Why you do that in my eye

Gee I'm glad elephants can't fly

Ew. Sky rats. If I ever get pooped on by one of them, I'm going to go to the nearest shower and stay under the water with a continuous supply of shampoo and conditioner for about two hours. That's gross.

Side: Oh, yeah!

If you do look up, however, at least keep you moth shut. ;)

I've been shit on by pigeons 3 times.

count them, three.

But unless you're directly under the sun, it's not the shadows you have to worry about, they come when you least expect it.

Side: Oh, yeah!

Actually the sun has to be at your back. They normally make their approach from that angle. Come in low, drop their load and pull up at the last minute. Like Kamikazes! You feel it hit the back of your head as you spot them pulling up.... laughing at your sorry ass. I hate those things. Why doesn't global warming kill them off first ? ;)

Nothings more disgusting than having a bird poop in your head. That's why when I'm strolling at the park I tend close my mouth and always wears a cap.

if I see the shadow of a pigeon the last place I want that bird to drop its load off is in my face.

Side: Oh, yeah!

I'm not sure what you mean, but usually, when I see the shadow of something over head, I jump backwards and crash into somebody. Once I pick my head up, whatever was flying overhead is usually gone.

Side: Hmmm, I don't know.

Check the other side over <---- there and you'll see what we mean. Then switch sides ;)

Side: Hmmm, I don't know.

I think it's a better practice to move one step back and one to the left or right!
