Only people who are above the poverty line should be allowed to reproduce.

Let's face it, we would be doing THEM a favor.

Why have children if you can't afford them?

Besides, abortion is legal.

Or we can do it like the Iranians did it:

If ya can't afford a kid, don't have one. And if ya do, don't expect me to pay for it.

you are paying for a lot worse things...trust me. the amount of tax dollars that goes to public aid/etc...is jack shit considering

if "they" stopped giving handouts...we slaves will still get taxed more and more each year...and it sure fuck aint going to be spent on roads, schools or any of that other BS people bring up as an excuse to get fucked by our government

for every dollar thats stolen from we the people...2 cents is probably used for the good of humanity

total ass fuck...

Doesn't change my answer... I don't wanna pay for most of it.

Side: True.

Would you support poor people having contraceeption then? I feel that might solve the problem.

If we get the population growth under control, it should be easier to manage Global Warming. It's for the planet ;)

getting the monetary system under control and utilizing our resources and technology is more important. but thanks to a bunch of rich fucks and corrupt governments that love feeling in power and inferior...there will always be big time poverty...

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you're so poor ;)

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

If we get the population growth under control, it should be easier to manage universal health care. It's for the people ;)

If we get the population growth under control, it should be easier to manage rush hour traffic. It's for me ;)

If we get the population growth under control, it should be easier to manage to reduce the number of children living in poverty. It's for the children ;)

It would entirely solve African/Middle Eastern problem...

...how can be someone so retarded ...having 8+ kids, but no employment or any sort of income?

Side: True.

When you are born into poverty then you will most likely be bored with not much to do. Sex is nice entertainment cuz It's free. Then throw in cheap drugs and alcohol and wala!

Poverty may not cause boredom . The largest group of drug users in my country, Ireland, is middle class women, not poor junkies . Drug use and sex to fight boredom is across all social classes . Just look at the actor who died recently Mr Hoffman . Manhattan upper class relapsed and died , may he rest in peace . The man must have been deeply unhappy and bored.

It'd cut down on the number of abortions. As far as the choice element, I don't care about that choice. Think about it this way. If the choice is kill a person, or never restrain that person to have to kill them, I feel better letting you choose to not restrain that person.

They'd never go for this though, so they should be made infertile at birth, and then when they have good enough credit and financial ability they come to get the option reversed.

Side: True.

Painful to agree but indeed. It will greatly decrease the crime rate if the people who has children can supply them with the necessities

Side: True.

i disagree...for some poor people, thats the only joy they have.

but i do think there should be a 2 kid limit to every couple, no matter how fucking rich/poor you are.

nobody has the right to "clone" themselves more than once. cockroaches like the duggars ultimately hurt humanity and the planet.

if you want 3-100 kids...fucking adopt

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

OK. How about this as a solution?

I'm sorry Joe, the gov does not have the right to dictate reproductive choices of anyone. That scares me.

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

I know it is far too totalitarian-ish for me.

Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

I respect your mind. Never give that up. .

I hate to say it, but we should follow what Iran did.

Starting with:

"The only governmental disincentive was elimination of the individual subsidy for food, electricity, telephone, and appliances for any child after the first three."

What a long winded douche. There is long winded, but this goes beyond that 1/3 of the way through he finally addressed the subject of the article. 1/2 way through he was done explaining. I have no idea what else he could have talked about.

No thanks. Im just troubled by big gov dictating our choices. I would concede to contraception being required to recieve welfare though.
