Revoke teenager's cell phones so they don't send nude pics of themselves!

It doesn't seem like we can keep teens from sending nude pictures of themselves:

So I propose we revoke their cell phone priviledges.

I made it through my teenage years without a cell phone. It is not a necessity. It is a distraction. Texting in class instead of sending handwritten notes (like the good old days). Making drug deals on the phone instead of behind the school (like the good old days). Sending nude pictures of yourself on the phone instead of playing, "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" (like the good old days). It's just not right; so revoke their privilege. Especially since I'm not a teen and I'll get to keep my cell phone (;

That's like taking away all coins, so people don't drop them off of buildings. Such a small portion of kids send naked pictures to each other that it's pointless to restrict everyone. If you take away cell phone they'll just use computers and digital cameras.

Agreed, I have a cell phone and I have never done anything like that. Nor have I droped coins from tall buildings. + not all cell phones have cameras, AND not all phones can send pictures.

Well, I believe you when you say that you wouldn't send nudie pics of yourself but I'm just trying to protect you by having your phone taken away because if some teen sends you nudie pics of themselves, you will be charged with possession of pedophilia. I'm sorry but it's for your own good ;)

We'll take those away too. We're the parents (; Wait...., that deserves a double smiley ;)

Why not just lock your kids up in a box, this way they have no chance of getting into any trouble, or ever having to deal with reality.

The idea is ridiculous if I want to send someone a pick of anything it is my business and Joe is just making this debate up because it doesn't affect him in the least!

Side: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

LOL You got me pegged dude. That's absolutely right ;)

BTW, what do they call that? Sexting (instead of texting)?

Side: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

You know what, I think they actually do call it that. But I heard you call it that before I heard the word on the news. So they should call it Sexting (copyright2009JoeCavalry)

I just got my cell phone last year and I don't want it to be taken away!

there's nothing wrong with it. (;

besides when God made man and woman, he made them nude.

Side: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Exactly!

I think dating couples should be able to send nude photos of themselfs.

what if they live far away and they cant see each other in person?

Wait.... What? Teenagers that are dating should be allowed to send nude pictures of themselves?
