In denial of what? Denial of God? Which one exactly? I only deny one more God than most theists ;)

Because we know that there are a countless amount of galaxies and the probability of life outside our tiny planet is far too great to deny.

I just think nature and life will find a way, and that it is far too complex for any entity to think of or make themselves, even "god". God is a lazy term used when people don't know the real reason something happens, or cant explain something. God is an excuse for ignorance and we should always try to find the answers rather than say "god" and stop learning.

I obviously didn't mean to stare directly at it. I really don't think I need to explain how a sundial works, do I? Or were ancient people more intelligent than people on this site?
