Their economy will be fine. The most important thing is that they were able to get their democratic process back from the authoritarians on the continent.

So it sounds as if you are suggesting that the UK should have gone down with the ship, then, one the ship was at rest at the bottom of the sea, winch it back to the surface and make repairs.

I think it is easier and safer to just jump ship and build a new boat.

Do you think that it is in a country's best interest to have nonelected officials, the EU Commission, writing and proposing laws for their country?

Do think that it is in a counties best interest to have other countries voting on laws created by nonelected officials that will become the law of the land in said country?

Do you think it's a good idea for this organization, the EU, to be pushing for it's own treasury and military? Mind you, that treasury and military could enforce unfavorable laws on the country in question, regardless of said country's opinion on the subject?

Do you believe in the democratic system?

If you answered yes to any of the first three, you had better not have yes on the forth.

I don't think it's reasonable or prudent to ban weapons from the public, considering there are only 1700 non gang related gun murders a year.

There are 312 million people in the US.

There are357 million guns in the US.

There are roughly 32,000 deaths a year in the US from firearms.

60% are suicides. That's 19,200.

3% are accidental. That's 960.

4% are justified. That's 1,280.

33% are homicides. That's 10,560.

80% of those homicides are gang related. That's 8,448.

That leaves 1,712 in a society of 312 million people.

The US does not have a gun problem.

Yes, I'm fine with that. Considering the numbers, there's no reason to believe there would be any sort of uptick in murder. This is because there are only about 1,700 non-drug related gun murders every year in a country of 312 million.

What is reasonable gun control? You need to define that. Every piece of gun control regulation that has come down the pipe in the last hundred years has been considered "reasonable". But these "reasonable" gun control laws just keep coming and coming. You need to explain what reasonable is, so that once you get it, I will expect to NEVER, EVER have another gun law passed.

What is reasonable gun control?

What gun control are you talking about? There has been a hundred years of gun control measures come down the line and you want more. Well what do you want? If you got that, would it be enough for you or would you demand more the next time something like this happens?
