One quarter true. I won't deny that many of his supporters are indeed rebelling against liberalism. But another quarter are simply following his cult of personality, and another quarter are rejecting the entirety of what broken corrupt Washington stands for, and another quarter are because their personal single issue special interest was promised something by him (which indeed can tie to liberal vs conservative but not necessarily).
