Except for the last guy, everyone in a race is evil.

People running a race are evil because they don't care about the guys behind them.  They only care about themselves and winning a trophy they have no intention of sharing with their competitors.  If they cared about the other guys' feelings, they would wait for them to catch up.  Since they don't consider their competitors' feelings and wait for them, they are just plain mean.  At best, they are greedy and selfish for wanting a trophy they don't plan to share.

This isn't a child's sportsday race. I think the competitors would be insulted if someone was 'considering their feelings' in such a manner. I certainly would be.

Then why do I have to share my winnings (money) in the form of taxes to provide for the poor? Why do I have to consider their feelings? Why am I called greedy and selfish if I don't take them into consideration? Why is it different? Why don't the poor feel insulted when offered a handout? ;)
