if that was the case, we as a society would have already progressed so many steps forward, then as par your logic so many steps back that we would no longer exists. Admittedly society does some stupid things after doing some great ones, but we are not doing these things to such a detriment that they'd set us back every time. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
