If you want to stop Global Warming, you are selfish!
I want beach front property! I want the ice caps to melt and the world to flood right up to one city block from my home! You people are so selfish, always thinking about yourselves! What about me? I have a right to beach front property! If you wont do it for me, do it for my kids! Do it for the children! I mean, one man's loss is another man's gain. Survival of the fittest and adaptation to one's environment is the name of the game. Don't stack the deck against me. let nature takes its course. Put Darwanism back into society.
OK. Are you good at scuba diving? Instead of scuba diving in some wreck, like the Titanic, you can scuba dive into some mansion or whatever is left of Sea World. How cool is that! ;)
I know! Right? Global Warming is not so bad! You just have to look for the silver lining. Just make sure you don't buy any property near sea level and just wait for the ice caps to melt. There are those who don't believe in GW and will not move their homes to higher ground. That's their loss and our gain. People need to start thinking outside the box ;)
Geeze Joe, you live in California, your property may be beachfront after the next earthquakes hit the area! That's not selfish but it could be a reality.

I think the world is getting warmer but... so what? Lets make the best of it. I'm gonna die way before you. Therefore, if I'm wrong and GW turns out to be a lot worse than I'm making it out to be, I wont have to deal with it ;)
I don't think humans are responsible for GW. I think it's a natural thing. There have been periods of cooling and warming throughout the history of this planet. We have had Ice Ages and the ice has receded (GW) before there were even humans on this planet. Trying to "reverse" GW is like trying to stop a tornado. You can't. So just go with the flow ;)
If we stop global warming, we would be saving the Earth! How does that make us selfish? If we don't save the Earth, That's what that would make us selfish!
Save the Earth from what? We can't destroy this planet. We can only destroy ourselves. Maybe my definition of "destroying the planet" is different than yours.
Save the EARTH from global warming. We cant destroy the planet, but when the effects of global warming gets from bad to worse, like the melting of the glaciers, the human race might extinct when the water level rises and floods the entire world.
