When the chics are on the conveyor belt, it's like being on a roller coaster. Life is a lot like a roller coaster. There are some fun parts and some scary parts. There are ups and there are downs. Sometimes you get spun around and banged up a bit. 

Through it all you wonder why a higher being would allow such a thing.  You might debate the topic with those next to you and label them atheists, or theists, or agnostics. 

Sometimes you accidentally fly off the thing and you are greeted by an early horrible death. Sometimes you're just fated for an early horrible death and serve as a warning to ohers that life is NOT fair.

But no matter what happens in between..., in the end..., we all become food. Food for humans (if you're a chicken) or food for the worms (if you're a human).
