During the 7 years I've been here, I have created more than few debates with a funny spin to them to try and make them lighthearted.  But people were just rolling their eyes at those debates and I feared that soon they would have to have their eyes replaced because all the eye rolling was wearing their eyes out.  However, it turned out that those fears were unfounded and that the real threat came from people calling each other names and being mean to each other.  Those debates were bringing out the worst in people and enabling trolls.  I mean, the idiots were coming out of the woodwork and the trolls were waiting in ambush (like lambs to the slaughter)and oh..., the horror... the horror!  So..., for that..., I'm sorry.
