Should scientists start searching for a cure for gayness?
Gay people claim that it was not their choice to be gay. They were born that way. They ask, "Why would anyone chose to be gay? It is a hard life style. We are always being discriminated against."
Maybe we can fix gayness in the womb.
True.

There is very little to suggest that this would be possible. If it were it would come at an incredible diversion of resources that could be better allocated, and it would add no marked benefit to society anyways. With respect to individuals who are gay, the problem is not that they are gay but that people are intolerant idiots. If one could cure idiocy and hatred, now those might be worthwhile developments... Gayness has no negative effect on society. We do not have issues with underpopulation, nor is anyone hurt by homosexuality. Why would we need a reversal for homosexuality, especially when there is no evidence to suggest that such a reversal is possible? Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
