If I were to have children, I would work hard to ensure they can identify between reality and fantasy and establish why certain things (particularly violence) that are glorified in media are undesirable in the real world. Also, I would likely engage in mild censorship when they were very young..mostly to avoid nightmares on their part. But, honestly, I don't see the point in hiding arbitrarily controversial entertainment from children. Besides, if they are half as determined to work expose themselves to such entertainment as I was, it would be a waste of both of our time. Question: What types would allow and what types not? first, im so glad i dont have kids....too bad more people dont avoid it. thats the one thing i hate about my generation, all the fucktards they created second, if your kids actually obey you as far as what video games they can play or movies they can watch, or how they can wear there hair, or what time they have to be home for supper (not that any of the losers leave the house other than to go to school)...they are going to become unlikable to the rest of the world. No its not ok.By playing a m rated game, children are learning violence. Some children at the age of 7 are playing it.Theyre playing wrestling on their playstation and if they have a brother or sister they could play that game in real life with them!People would be getting injured. But what if they play a game like grand theft auto.Thats a very violent game.Thats why I say no. By playing a m rated game, children are learning violence. This was probably your most substantiated part of your argument. However, I must ask, at what age should kids be allowed to play M games? Some children at the age of 7 are playing it.Theyre playing wrestling on their playstation and if they have a brother or sister they could play that game in real life with them! Okay... and? People would be getting injured. How? elaborate. But what if they play a game like grand theft auto.Thats a very violent game.Thats why I say no. What about a game rated M that isn't as violent as grand theft auto? Also I still haven't seen any substantiation, I'm not completely opposed to you, but your argument could be a lot better. You haven't provided any logic or evidence as to how violent video games increases violent behavior in kids. Simply in a round about way, pointed out kids that play violent video games, are playing violent video games, made a vague assertion to them getting injured. Your most substantiated part of your argument was your second sentence. Side: Yes
