But what if God was created by us? Christians, Muslims, and Jews will agree that the Romans created many gods because they could not understand. Could God just be a simplification? That would make him flawed and corrupt like us.
To comment on logic, God himself is illogical. No being can be all knowing, all loving and forgiving, all good, and all powerful. The traits contradict themselves. God would at most have to be a divine energy that fuels big bangs that create universes. Who knows? But my point is that the traditional God himself is not logical therefore you cannot support him with logic.
I do not envy God, only question why I should praise a being that does not seem to care or do anything. Why go to church if I get nothing out of it? What about the poor kids in Africa? At least Bill Gates does charity works. In that way he has earned more respect than God, at least to me.
Maybe. But that still makes him a corrupt, a-hole who is too good to help out. I hate God because he is too powerful, and no power should be concentrated in one place. God does not deserve my respect because God is too high and mighty to come down off his high throne to help. End of story
God is some jackass who is too good to come down and help us. He should step off his high throne and take a look at what is going on.
