Read the article..., working-class white Americans are angry.

White people are facing the loss of the privileged position that they previously were able to take for granted.

Bite your tongue!!!

Side: True.

Yes, he's the catalyst against which most ''middle Americans'' are reacting. His policies have resulted in the United States losing control of it's borders and the unprecedented influx of illegal immigrants many of whom are violent drug dealing Mexican gangsters. In my opinion Trump is not Presidential material but his indisputable success illustrates the frustration and grave concerns at what Obama has done to their country.

We have Obama, Gays, Muslims and Illegal Aliens to blame for Donald Trump.

Side: True.

We are headed for big time revolution. Trump is thee "fuck the staus quo" candidate. He may become "Hitler-ish"

Side: True.

Hitler was amazing . If he would have stuck to europe, he would've been successful to this day. He just bit off more than could chew. He would not have killed the jews if america would have taken them . He just knew they would always be parasitic. Besides, why did they lie about 6million ? He only killed a million

If you want to know more about me, my original account is joecavalry.

Side: True.

To me, Trump is a protest candidate, a revocation of business as usual; an all out rejection of traditional cookie-cutter candidates who are beholden to their donor base who spew forth the same old, standard canned talking points you usually get from establishment candidates. At least to me he is.

You didn't read the article, did you?

Nope .

Nope, decades of failures by BOTH the Republicans and Democrats have resulted in a group of independent voters which outnumbers either party's individual constituency. Both parties keep trying to court those independents and when they succeed they take it as a mandate that they're right and the other party is wrong, but in reality it's just independents trying to tell all of Washington you stink and you aren't taking care of us. Now along comes someone who doesn't really fit with the biparty structure who is telling everyone to stick it and that is resonating with the disenchanted.

Your equating Trump's success with Democrat failures is just an example of you falling for the same myths which are pissing off the independent voters - like me.

This debate is meant to point out that the reasons for Trump's success may actually a bit more complicated than the simplistic reasons many people think. Also, if the reason given in the article is more accurate, then the problem is going to get worse regardless of who wins this election. Which is why it needs to be evaluated and discussed. But people can't discuss any of that if they don't take the time to look at the conflicting evidence presented, evaluate it, and then make a decision.
