It’s no path to truth and is in fact a perfect example of the perverse arguments and the extents these people will go to try and propagate their religions.

It was like ok, ok, makes sence and.........then gobbity gook. There is no more morality or truth in those books, or in worshipping an idea that divulges from logic and reasoned thought. It’s sick, sad and a little bit cliche at this point. LEARN SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE, DONT BE TRICKED By others, reason, let your mind be open for just a second, and then read the bible again. It’s sad also that self proported Christians don’t know how to interpret their own series of written accounts. Its all just a matter of perspective, like changing position to allow the mirage to fade, and then real life pours in.

I went to church until the age of 18, and then my job was at a tv station on the overnight shift where I was ‘forced’ to watch religious programs night after night. Since I knew these guys weren’t necessarily evil people although they looked and sounded that way to me, i eventually was able to listen to them quoting scripture, and then babbling afterwards. The funny part is that they had the correct passages for the correct association but they had the translation all wrong. I can’t speak for examples but it seemed like it was every night, they would blather endlessly about what they thought the scripture said, and I was like, that’s just wrong, small minded and stupid. Every time.

What does that mean? We should preserve the gift and pass it on?

We should kill everybody named Jesus and hope they wake up in 3 days? Or (my personal favourite) We should think to ourselves, wait, this isn’t technically a true and genuine story I’m taking stock in, there’s no way this could have happened so what in the high noon is this story trying to tell me?

I could try to dispute a for argument in the debate on stupidy, but I can’t imagine why you’d be for this and yet coherent enough to know its drivel?

So.....then......sin it up and rape and murder and steal and enslave people and stifle development and ruin children’s lives, and then just get FORGIVEN by Jesus!!!!! Oh Lordy loo.
