Judgement day is like saying if you are not good you will go to hell. Its one of the instruments that dangles as a threat to all kind to maintain social order or suffer self destruction.
It is possible that we invented religious consequences to avoid feudal anarchy and so we ended up with socialism, communism, democracy etc etc as a way to unite our societies, some of which are still feudal here and now in the 21stC
Spend a few weeks in a women's refuge working with the victims of domestic violence, spend a few weeks working with single moms whose partners have disappeared never paying child support, spend a few weeks at a sexual health clinic where victims of rape are supported and counseled and then maybe you will begin to see a different picture.
This was prevalent in the age of chivalry, a time when it was honorable to save the women and children first, when the captain went down with his ship and men who were disgraced fell on their swords.
Times have changed and things like chivalry and common sense have died and no one came to the funeral.

Agnes has just produced this video as a reference for what she is able to do in the arts. Hope someone sees this and gives her a job.
In the mean time it is well known that many people study for several years to be able to have the qualification to do their hearts desire without the realisation of the limitations of employment opportunities in their field of study.
The world around us is constantly changing and this means that unless people are savvy, have good connections, or have the opportunity to go it alone there simply may not be enough jobs to be found in certain fields, especially the arts.
My closest friend completed a science degree when jobs were scarce in our area and so he got a job with the council on the garbage truck until he had enough money to go out and get work elsewhere.
My engineering qualifications were not acceptable when I came to Australia so I got a job putting up fencing until I found something more suitable.
If we can't get a job in the area we want we have to be flexible and do something else while we keep looking for an opportunity wherever that may be.
